Trustees For Climate Club Aotearoa Charitable Trust Board

Details of the offer

About Climate ClubOver the past 3 years, Climate Club Aotearoa has been filling a niche in the climate movement to make climate action fun and approachable for everyday New Zealanders.Recent research shows that New Zealanders are still struggling to identify how to take action in the climate crisis.
We support people who are already worried about climate change, but not sure how to help, by lowering the barrier to high-impact action.
We translate the work of scientists, experts, and activists into achievable, hopeful, systemic actions, showing people that there is something for everyone in the climate movement. We currently have one general manager, 5 part-time contractors, and around 10 volunteers.
Together, we run a popular weekly climate action newsletter, social media channels, and workshops.
We are proud to have delivered workshops nationwide for communities, workplaces, schools, and over 7 councils across Aotearoa with our networks of facilitators, which has helped to fund part of our operation to date. The RoleWe have recently registered as a Charitable Trust.
