About The BusinessFluid Legal is delighted to extend our search on behalf of a popular repeat client, this time in the search for a Trust Account & Office Administrator to join their legal team.About The RoleAs an integral member of the team, you will play a crucial role in supporting smooth operations, providing timely and accurate administrative services and trust accounts support, while maintaining the highest standards of communication both internally and with the firm's loyal and high-profile client base.This is a rare role that offers equal parts client-facing and legal administration experience, working across a diverse variety of tasks where no two-days wiill be the same.This includes:Running receptionMeeting & greeting clientsBooking appointmentsDaily trust account reconcilliationSetting up online paymentsProcessing transactionsDatabase management, ensuring AML compliance across filesAdhoc administration, including dictation transcriptionSupport with monthly reportingOverlow legal secretarial tasksThe role spans across a variety of duties ensuring accuracy and compliance across all of their transactions and records. On a weekly basis, you can expect this to include trust account reconcilliation, receipts through their online payment portal, monitoring electronic payments, IBD transactions, credit control and accounts payable support, processing invoices and end of month billings, ensuring compliance with the Law Society and Trust Account audits.You will also have the opportunity to gain exposure and work across a variety of legal files, including property law and conveyancing transactions, deeds, wills, trusts and estate matters, as well as more bespoke commercial files and corporate law, working with specialist legal software amongst a leading team.About YouThis role is suited to someone who has a natural affinity and curiosity for numbers and legal processes, with a meticulous attention to detail. Due to the highly time and detail sensitive nature of this role, you will also have a demonstrated ability to take initiative and a be proactive under pressure and communicate effectively as a part of a team.You will be proficient across the entire Microsoft Office Suite, ideally with 2 + years of experience working with Microsoft Excel and relevant financial reporting software, and have a curiosity to learn new IT skills and processes. You will also need to collaborate with colleagues to maintain seamless financial operations, sharing insights, support, and knowledge to foster an effective team dynamic.Successful candidates may come from a general administration, banking, insurance, or wider professional services background looking to broaden their accounts or legal skillset.Prior experience in legal administration, trust accounting, tax, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, or credit control is preferred, but not essential.
