Truck Reconditioner & Driver

Star Trucks International Ltd is based in Richmond in sunny Nelson and has a position available for a Truck Reconditioner and Driver.

The role would involve:
Truck reconditioning, grooming and preparation of new and used trucks and equipment for sale.
Delivery and collection of new and used trucks throughout New Zealand.
Driver equipment operation training.

Our ideal candidate would have:
A passion for trucks and the trucking industry.
Appreciation for a highly presented truck and has an eye for detail.
A Class 5 license.
Heavy truck driving experience.
A good general knowledge of heavy trucks (ie crane operation, truck and trailer combinations).
Basic mechanical skills.
A good level of physical fitness.
The ability to work within a small friendly team environment.

This is a varied and interesting role and would be perfect for someone who wished to give up full time driving but still wanted to be working with trucks.
We are a small, friendly and supportive team who takes great pride in the quality and presentation of the trucks and equipment that we sell and in our after sales service.
