Treasury Lead

Experienced Treasury and Payments Lead required to provide end to end support on payment process.
We are looking for an experienced Treasury and Payments Lead, to join the finance team at Vodafone. You will manage a team of 3 and be responsible for ensure that all payments are made in accurate and timely manner as well as providing end to end support on the payment process. You will also provide support to the treasury team in regards to daily cash management, cashflow forecasting and hedging.
What will I be doing?

Managing the end to end payment process to ensure that all payments are made in timely and accurate manner.
Ensuring processing of payments are in compliance with the relevant policies and control guidelines.
Completion of tasks associated with all aspects of payments including remittance advice checks and resolving payment queries.
Managing internal bank transfers - ensuring Vodafone New Zealand has sufficient funds to make payments from correct accounts.
Supporting the treasury manager in relation to daily cash management, cashflow forecasting and hedging.
Coordination with the local cash general ledger accounting team and supporting external audit requests.

Implementing new processes and procedures to increase efficiencies within the team.

What will I bring?
You will have at least 5 years’ experience in financial reporting or accounting, and 2 years experience in Treasury and Accounts Payable management.
It is essential that you are experienced in the management of a team, and have exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
You will be an excel whizz and confident in managing and processing large volumes of data
It will be hugely beneficial if you have experience in the use of SAP

You must have an exceptional eye for detail, and accuracy is paramount

This is a full time contract position, starting immediately through until 31/03/2020 and is located in Vodafone’s modern state of the art office in Takapuna.
