We are an energetic campervan rental company relentlessly focused on the customer experience and making sure we do things right while having fun along the way. We're offering an exciting role inside of a highly successful and dynamic team.Purpose: The Traveller Operations Assistant is the lead customer service, administration and operations position in Auckland. Key focus will be on high standards with all traveller facing areas of the business. They need to embody the energy that our company is built on and be endlessly focussed on traveller satisfaction, staying organised and managing a wide range of tasks. They need to communicate effectively and support the wider team as necessary.Key Responsibilities: Greet inbound and outbound travellers; show through vans, manage extras and on road requests. Ensure all information has been collected and travellers leave well looked after and informed. Manage emails; booking requests, on road requests, traveller queries & complaints as they come through. Response time and clear communication is critical. Communicate via all channels with travellers – phone, email, social, etc. Booking system - ensure bookings are entered correctly, payment is managed daily, and maintain fleet efficiency. Market research and analysis Support team to ensure vehicles are ready for collection - T/A's, grooming, kitsets, safety, extras, etc. Maintain high standards of presentation around the office. Be available to transport travellers as required (if you only have a restricted license, you will just transport the vehicle) Manage stock levels of extras, van equipment, tee shirts etc. General tasks as required. This role and its responsibilities are dynamic and ultimately provide support to the entire business.
The role will be varied from day to day and the workload can change quickly due to shifting customer / company needs. You will need to be flexible and able to think on your feet, along with working efficiently, cooperatively and to tight deadlines. We are open 7 days per week, so you may well be required to work at least 1 weekend shift each week, 40 hours per week in total.
