Transport Planning Manager

We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.

Leading the refinement of planning cycles and freight movement optimisation strategies to deliver continuous improvement in service level and cost efficiencies
Optimising freight movements and building executable load plans on a daily basis using the Foodies Transport Management System
Liaise and support the on-site Dispatch and Transport Operations teams with managing issues that have arisen from transport planning activities
Tactical operational planning including forecasting (3 months to 1 day), capacity planning, route planning and optimisation activities
Support the strategic modelling of our wider Supply Chain network to ensure we are aligned to changes in our business model

Proven track record in freight movement optimisation using software-based tools to drive efficiencies and service level

The ability to perform at a high level in an environment of ambiguity and change

Exceptional leadership and communications skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels
