About the Role We are currently looking for a keen individual wanting to grow their career as a Transport Planner / Dispatcher in our Hastings branch. Working with a modern fleet and well-known NZ companies, you will be required to understand your clients and their needs and support them with transport solutions and service that are second to none. Schedule/Plan set runs and adhoc transport requirements per instructions. Co-ordinate container and port bookings Co-ordinate/Liaise with drivers, clients, and sites to optimize turn around times Hours of work - 7am-5pm - 45 hours per week contract Execution of planned runs to meet customer DIFOTS About You Along with a positive attitude and openness to learning and development you will also bring : Current planner/dispatching experience within a large fleet – preferred. Eye for detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions. A good understanding of Microsoft applications, specifically Excel and Outlook, with the capacity to learn new technology – experience with Port and container booking systems and EROAD will be highly regarded.
