Transport Manager

We are a transport company based in Auckland New Zealand. We are looking for someone to fill the position of Transport Manager.You must: - Have a Degree or Diploma in either Business/Logistics/Supply Chain Management.- Have full working knowledge of transport industry in New Zealand.- Have at least 1-year managerial/supervisory experience in New Zealand.- Have sound knowledge of vehicles used in NZ trucking industries.- Have reliable transport.- Be honest and enthusiastic with a positive and mature attitude.- Be available to work on weekends and even public holidays (if required).- Have class 5 driver’s license, so that you may be able to move vehicles in the yard when required.You will be responsible for: · Bookings Management· Ensuring safety and timely delivery of goods.· Finances and accounts· Office Management· Human Resources Management· Business Development· Stakeholder management· Records management· Vehicles Management· Service and Complaints· Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards- Other tasks as may be required.Important Note: COVID-19 has severely impacted the employment in New Zealand, which has led to many Kiwis losing their jobs or being made redundant across the country.
