Details of the offer

Goddards CartageWe are a medium sized, Ellerslie based, Auckland transport and 3pl warehousing provider. We require a flexible person to join our small office team. You must be honest and reliable and be prepared to take on a number of varied tasks as and when required.

Suggested Hours are 8.30am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday.

Duties and responsibilities include:

-Providing support in responding to driver and client enquiries both in person and telephone and email.
-Pricing and quoting of deliveries and entering job bookings and allocating jobs.
-Rating of previous days deliveries and orders and entering them into the WMS and TMS.
-Admin support to the warehouse staff relating to orders and bookings.
-Data entry and report creation in our Transport management system, Warehouse management system and excel.

-Assisting the dispatch team
-Account queries
-Any other tasks required in a small office environment

This is a busy role and you must be prepared to be involved in all aspects of the businesses activities - a positive, can-do attitude is essential. Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as a helpful and friendly approach are required, as you will be dealing directly with clients, drivers and other operations staff. You will also need excellent computer skills and a good phone manner.

Experience in the transport and logistics industry is preferred.
