Transcripts must be produced in accordance with contractual and client-driven deadlines, with a focus on quality and accuracy.
Productivity levels, as directed by the business, must be maintained at all times.
Transcribers must maintain clear communication with colleagues via various channels and work collaboratively with other Court Reporting teams to facilitate the successful delivery of service to our clients.
They are responsible for undertaking research to ensure transcript accuracy, utilizing supporting information and maintaining glossaries for all work produced.
All Transcribers are subject to quality and productivity assessments and are responsible for actioning any feedback provided.Essential Job ResponsibilitiesProduce high-quality transcripts in accordance with delivery deadlinesProofread all transcripts prior to submissionUtilize all available supporting information to ensure accurate transcriptionKeep glossaries up to dateUndertake cross-training on various jurisdictions as directedMaintain familiarity with audio playback platforms such as Liberty, FTR, VIQFamiliarize with production tools (TOPS/macros, etc.
