What does a Line Mechanic do?
Working in our Low Voltage (LV) Lines team, you will provide repairs, maintenance, and construction services to our overhead lines. You will learn to use various instrumentation and diagnostic equipment and technology, and respond to and repair faults within our network, keeping the lights on across the Waikato.

We are looking for people with the attitude and drive to join us in early 2020 and learn from our highly skilled team, to become fully registered Distribution Line Mechanics.
Skills and experience
A strong commitment to ensuring the Health & Safety of yourself, your team and the public who use our network

Some level of workplace experience

The drive and motivation to advance your career in the industry - at WEL in particular!
