Traffic Management Specialist $35-$39ph (2846193) Christchurch, New Zealand Salary: $35-$39 ph + Work Vehicle Brand new role in an established tier 2 civil company for an STMS looking to take the next step. Are you ready to take charge of a new Traffic Management division? I am looking for a fit and driven person to start up and lead a new traffic management division. Successful applicant will be supported and trained by management in how the company operates to set you up for success. This role is for well established Tier 2 civil construction companies based in Christchurch. All work is within the Canterbury region. Work will be Monday to Friday during the day with rare cases of night or weekend work. Key Responsibilities: Plan and allocate resources, and ensureefficient execution of all tasks within the Traffic Management division. Create and lead a team comprising of Traffic Management Operatives and STMS staff (both internal and external). Work on site to set up traffic management with your team. Review and action effective Traffic Management Plans, ensuring their successful implementation. (Training will be provided for a suitable candidate) Prioritise health and safety, not only for yourself but also for your colleagues and the public. Leverage your computer proficiency to manage responsibilities effectively. Qualifications and Skills: Solid background in Traffic Management on New Zealand roading projects, including familiarity with NZTA processes. Physically fit as this is an "on the tools" role. STMS Qualifications (Category A & B). Class 2 highly desirable. In-depth knowledge of the Christchurch market. Excellent interpersonal skills, whether leading a team or preparing for the next step in your career. Proven experience managing both internal and external customers. Strong project planning expertise. A commitment to continuous learning and excellence.
