Flexibility to work across the country on various projects is preferred.The Trades Assistant is responsible for:Reading electrical layouts to determine appropriate systems and ensure compliance with electrical and fire codes.Installing and testing systems to ensure proper operation.Repairing system issues and replacing defective parts.Working within guidelines set by the Leading Hand, Supervisor, or Manager to meet project requirements.Monitoring work progress and communicating delays or issues to supervisors.Conducting quality inspections in your area of responsibility.Understanding safety policies and seeking advice when needed.Participating as a member of the marine team and wider organization.Performing other duties as assigned.Pay conditions: Min $26.00 per hour, up to $30 per hour.Hours of work: Minimum 30 hours guaranteed.Skills and experience required:Ideally, one year of relevant experience or a qualification equivalent to NZQF Level 1, but not compulsory.Friendly attitude, good time management, and strong work ethic are essential.Commitment to learning and developing industry skills.Knowledge of health and safety procedures.Reliable and hardworking.Possible work locations include multiple sites across New Zealand, such as Auckland, Northland, Waikato, and others.This is a permanent, full-time role.
