Trades Assistants - Hawkes Bay

We are looking for Trades Assistants to join our business, Extrastaff Limited.

You might be asked to work across the country to assist our projects, so flexibility on work locations is preferred.Responsibilities:View electrical layouts to determine the appropriate system and ensure compliance with electrical and fire codesInstall and test the system to ensure proper functioningRepair any problems with the system and replace defective partsWork within guidelines set by Leading Hand, Supervisor, or Manager to meet programmed, time, cost, and quality requirementsMonitor progress of all work and communicate delays or problems to the supervisor or managerCarry out quality inspections in your area of responsibility following all policies and proceduresUnderstand safety objectives and policies, seeking advice when necessaryParticipate as a member of the marine team and the wider organisationPerform any other duties as assignedPay Conditions:Min $26.00 per hour to a maximum of $30 per hourHours of Work:Minimum 30 hours guaranteed per weekSkills and Experience:Ideally, one year of relevant experience or a qualification equivalent to NZQF Level 1, but not compulsoryFriendly demeanor, good time management, and a strong work ethicCommitment to learning and developing industry skillsKnowledge of health and safety proceduresReliable and hardworkingLocation:Work may be required across multiple locations throughout New Zealand including Auckland, Northland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawkes Bay, Taranaki, Gisborne, Whanganui-Manawatu, Wellington, Marlborough, Nelson-Tasman, Canterbury, West Coast, Otago, and Southland.Employment Type:This role is permanent and full-time.Application:If you are interested, please send your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your experience.
