Trade Support Specialist - Mega Queenstown

You will have exceptional attention to detail andexcellent computer skills, including fast and accurate data entry. You will needto have had a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a large retail/trade supplyenvironment, where your in-depth product knowledge will have added significantvalue.
You will be responsible for:
Liaising with trade account holders, identifyingand supplying specialist products
Creating and presenting competitive quotes
Margin and expense management of assignedprojects
Procurement, receipting and invoicing of customerorders
Maintaining data integrity and confidentiality
Logistics of stock movement, ensuringfrictionless ‘source to site’ transitions
Phone enquiries and general sales
Provide first line of support to Trade AccountManagers to deliver solutions for customer queries
Organising and participating in Trade Events asrequired
You will need to:
Possess excellent knowledge of building supplymaterials and their applications, including timber and other trade relatedproducts
Have at least one year experience in estimating andquoting scheduled quantities of construction and building materials, through todeveloping accurate and competitive estimates
Have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Have a flexible can-do attitude and a willingness toalways go the extra mile
Be competent in the use of MS Office especiallyExcel
Be able to cope under pressure especially whenworking to tight deadlines to meet both customer and business needs
