The Opportunity:
Based in Wellington and reporting to the Area Sales Manager you will use your strong sales and relationship building skills to drive the performance of the Dulux trade and re-paint business departments.
Day to day you?ll be out on the road calling on our diverse customer base of trade painters and applicators as well as property managers and body corporates. You?ll be building positive relationships, gaining sales and influencing customer buying habits of our premium paints and coatings products.
When not out and about you?ll be planning for the days ahead - booking sales meetings, reviewing sales reports and developing individual gap plans to identify growth opportunities in a structured and targeted manner.
About You:
To be successful in this role you will have a passion for exceeding customer expectations and a natural talent for developing relationships. You will be motivated by chasing and closing a sale and ideally will have experience with:
B2B sales, including cold calling and new client generation;
Strong communications skills and commercial acumen;
Trade related industry knowledge will be highly regarded.
