Trade Sales Assistant (Wellington)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Trade Sales Assistant to join our Trade Centre based in Petone, Wellington! Hours of work are Full Time, working Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 5:00pm and Sunday 8:30am - 3:00pm. Are you an experienced salesperson who loves helping customers find what they need for their projects?
Having good knowledge of PPE, Hardware, or Apparel will be a definite advantage; however, product training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities: Interact with customers, identify their needs, and present solutions across our wide range of products and services Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customers are always the priority Coordinate with support teams to meet customer requirements accurately and timely Assist with store presentation, visual merchandising, and product selection Maintain stock levels and ensure appropriate stock rotation Handle, pack, and dispatch goods inwards and outwards Maintain accurate inventory records Our Ideal Candidate: Has a strong retail or sales background Previous experience selling product categories such as Power Tools, Hardware, or Safety Footwear & PPE is advantageous but not essential Possesses a positive attitude, energy, and eagerness to learn and grow Driven to exceed sales targets and rewarded for high performance Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills, enthusiasm, and team spirit Problem solver capable of turning challenges into wins Passionate about customer service with a 'can do' attitude Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment About Us: At NZ Safety Blackwoods, we are passionate about providing expert knowledge and solutions to our customers.
