Trade Sales Assistant (Middleton)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Full-time Trade Sales Assistant to join our Trade Centre based in Middleton, Christchurch!
Are you an experienced salesperson who loves helping customers find what they need for their projects?
Having good knowledge of PPE, Hardware, or Apparel will be an advantage, but is not essential as product training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:

Interact with customers, identify their needs, and present solutions across our wide range of products and services.
Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customers are always the priority.
Liaise with support teams to meet customer requirements accurately and on time.
Assist with store presentation, visual merchandising, and product selection.
Maintain stock levels and ensure proper stock rotation.
Handle, pack, and dispatch inbound and outbound goods.
Help maintain accurate inventory within the store.
Our Ideal Candidate:

Has a strong retail or sales background.
Previous experience selling product categories such as Power Tools, Hardware, Safety Footwear, or PPE is advantageous but not necessary.
Possesses a positive attitude, energy, and eagerness to learn and grow.
Is sales-driven with a desire to exceed targets and earn rewards for high performance.
Has an outgoing personality with excellent communication skills, enthusiasm, and team spirit.
Is a problem solver who can turn challenges into opportunities.
Has a passion for customer service and a 'can-do' attitude.
Is physically fit and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
