Description
We are seeking Trades Assistants to join Extrastaff Limited.
Our expanding business needs organized and trustworthy individuals who take pride in quality workmanship.
Motivation and results-driven attitude are essential.
Flexibility on work locations across the country may be required to support various projects.
The Trades Assistant will be responsible for:

Reading electrical layouts to determine appropriate systems and ensure compliance with electrical and fire codes.
Installing and testing systems to ensure proper operation.
Repairing system issues and replacing defective parts.
Working within guidelines set by Supervisors or Managers to meet project requirements regarding time, cost, and quality.
Monitoring work progress and communicating delays or issues to supervisors.
Conducting quality inspections according to policies and procedures.
Understanding and adhering to safety policies, seeking advice when necessary.
Participating as part of the marine team and the wider organization.
Performing other duties as assigned.
Pay rate: Minimum $26.00/hour, up to $30/hour.
Hours: Minimum 30 hours guaranteed per week.
Skills and Experience:

Approximately one-year relevant experience or a qualification equivalent to NZQF Level 1 (not mandatory).
Friendly demeanor, good time management, and strong work ethic.
Commitment to learning and industry skill development.
Knowledge of health and safety procedures.
Reliable and hardworking.
Location flexibility includes multiple locations across New Zealand such as Auckland, Northland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawkes Bay, Taranaki, Gisborne, Whanganui-Manawatu, Wellington, Marlborough, Nelson-Tasman, Canterbury, West Coast, Otago, and Southland.
This is a permanent, full-time role.
