Track Designer - Rail

Opportunity for an experienced Permanent Way Designer to join this global engineering consultancy who are involved in a number of Australian rail projects from a delivery & TA perspective.
The Permanent Way Engineer will undertake design, project management and consulting services within rail design, in order to enhance the teams portfolio of skills and expertise. In addition, the successful candidate will:
Management of the Permanent Way Design process, ensuring that all required procedures as defined by the clients design requirements are followed.
Provide technical permanent way engineering design, checking and verification
Be accountable for significant and complex activities or projects. This will require you to be responsible for predicting and planning future resources;
Produce detailed railway alignment designs within constrained environments for infrastructure projects
Represent the client at internal and external meetings;

To be suitable for the role you will ideally have
Relevant industry experience in Engineering Design within a consulting business environment;
Relevant experience in roadways, highways and rail track alignment design.
Membership of relevant professional institutions/professional peer bodies or significant credit towards eligibility for membership.
