Description ZSY Construction Ltd is based in Auckland, is specialised in delivering high quality, customer focused commercial and residential developments. We are looking for two Timber Specialist to join our awesome team.
You will be expected to work at different sites throughout the Auckland region, a minimum of 30 hours per week from Monday to Friday as normal hours of work, and you may also be required to work on Saturday as well. Please note this is a permanent full-time role and the hourly pay rate would be $29.66-$32 based on the candidates' experience and skills.
Job Description for This Position · Study the specifications in blueprints, sketches or building plans to prepare the project layout and determine the dimensions and the materials required · Shape or cut the materials to the specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saw, or any other equipment needed · Construct building frameworks, including wall studs, floor joists, and doorframes · Make doors, window frames, staircases, and fitted furniture as required · Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment Key Requirements for Successful Applicants · At least three year of relevant experience as a carpenter is required · Relevant qualification or certificate is a bonus. · Punctual and reliable with a positive can-do attitude will be key in this role · Be physically fit as the job involves heavy lifting. · A positive and willing attitude to learn and progress. · Able to work with deadlines and schedules, and available to work weekends if required.
