You will need to be able to work autonomously and part of your role will be to conduct physical assessments, diagnose, and treat common conditions, provide screenings to our patients. Providing one on one advice to patients mean that you will need to be friendly, compassionate and pro-active in management of conditions.Alongside us, you will have the chance to bring your prior knowledge, skills and experience, to care for our patient database which includes a diverse range of patients in all age brackets. You will receive GP collegial support, work with skilled experienced nurses and administration team and be supported by our Medical Centre Manager.This is a Permanent Full Time position rostered between 35-40 hours per week across Monday to Sunday.Do you have what we are looking for?A current registration with the NZNC as a Nurse Practitioner and current APC is essentialYour practice aligns with the principles of The Treaty of Waitangi.Prior experience in a medical centre is an advantagePrior experience with smear testing, suturing and plastering is an advantageYou practice aligns with the principles of The Treaty of Waitangi.An aim to improve healthcare access across the practice populationAn in-depth knowledge of and passion for primary health careAbility to demonstrate advanced clinical nursing practice.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to build strong rapport with team members.A physically fit person who is confident, friendly and approachable.For more information, see the attached file.
