The Body Shop Warehouse Xmas Casual

We are looking for hard-working, energetic and friendly backpackers with a great eye for detail who are able to join our warehouse team on a casual basis through to Christmas. Our warehouse is located on Kaiwharawhara Road; just a 5-min bus ride from the city train station.JOB PURPOSETo ensure products and sundries are picked, packed and distributed to meet the needs of the businessPRIMARY JOB TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIESTo pick, pack and dispatch stock to stores in a timely manner. Occasionally store deliveries will alter depending on season i.e.: Christmas peak may require daily deliveries to key stores.To receive all goods noting any discrepancies or damages.To assist with rotation of stock by sending oldest stock to stores before new stock is launched.To assist with unloading incoming consignments, recording any discrepancies between pallet manifest and actual stock received. Damaged stock to be recorded and placed in quarantined area.To maintain familiarity and adhere to OSH regulations and general safety standards e.g. limiting the weight of stock boxes for stores to a maximum of 15kg.To receive rejects from stores and notify the Warehouse Manager.To ensure that the warehouse is a safe, tidy, clean, fun environment to work in.To accurately participate in cycle counts of stock on a regular basis as required.To assemble and price gift packs as and when necessary.To do any other general tasks in the Warehouse as instructed by the Warehouse Manager.
