As part of the Omni-Channel Tech Area we have a focus of turning one of New Zealand’s largest technology stacks in to a simple and seamless banking experience.In this role you will have the opportunity to;Showcase your thorough knowledge of the principles of functional and non-functional testingContribute to or lead the testing effort for a cross functional scrum team and championing qualityWork cross functionally as required, including mentoring othersManage manual testing processes for applications with low levels of automated coverage and work effectively to raise levels of test automationDemonstrate your strong written and verbal communication skills and to understand and manage stakeholder expectationsBe open to working across many platforms including goMoney (native mobile app), Internet Banking or our Micro Services platformUtilise your experience in testing mobile applications and/or web applicationsRole Location: Auckland CBDRole Type: Permanent, Full TimeWorking Hours: Standard business hours with plenty of flexible work options availableAbout youThis role will suit a highly experienced Automation Tester who has the following essential skills and experience:Minimum 5 years software testing experience with 3 years in Test AutomationProven working experience with any of tools that support mobile test automation (e.g. XCUITest, Espresso, Appium, Jenkins Pipeline etc.)Proficiency in coding with at least one programming language (e.g. Java, JS, Groovy etc.)Experience using source control tools like Git and BitbucketExperience developing, using and maintaining test automation frameworksThorough knowledge of the principles of functional and non-functional mobile testing (especially manual exploratory testing)Working knowledge in DevOps practices & continuous integration & deliveryAn agile and open mindset, able to consider new ideas and approaches to complex situationsExperience working in an agile environmentProven problem-solving abilityExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.
