The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Territory Sales Manager, to be based from the Auckland Head Office, and to work with existing and potential customers to identify and maximise sales opportunities of new and used equipment. You will work to identify and target direct sales opportunities, then implement strategies that deliver the sale.
The Role
This role will:
Maintain engagement with existing customers and develop new business opportunities through adherence to a proactive weekly call plan.
Capture all profitable sales within the designated territory to achieve or exceed Komatsu’s national market share average.
Update Komatsu CRM with opportunities and quotations on a weekly basis and ensure data is kept up to date, relevant and accurate.
Ensure all machine deliveries are conducted in a professional and timely manner.
Analyse and report on sales trends, internal intelligence and competitor actions at sales meetings.
Build, foster and retain good working relations with all key decision-makers within the customer organisational structures and internal departments by utilising the Komatsu Customer Support Charter as the guiding principles for all business interactions.
Maintain Product Knowledge through regular Komatsu product training and attendance and successful completion of the National Construction Division Training (NCDT).
Be actively involved in the preparation and attendance at industry field days when required.

The Ideal Candidate
The person we are looking for is a talented individual looking to make this position their own. You will be a proactive sales hunter; preferably with a proven network in the construction market, with excellent people and problem-solving skills. You will thrive on the challenge of increasing sales and be a true hunter and gatherer of opportunities.
