Here at Griffin's Snacks, we proudly produce many iconic and much-loved kiwi brands and are looking for someone who is keen to continue to grow their sales career and to step into a leadership role, with 4 direct reports.We're looking for a sales star with a real 'go getter' attitude, bucket loads of energy and strong commercial acumen to join our forward thinking and ambitious sales team as a Territory Manager.As our Territory Manager for the Southland region, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and growth within a designated territory, managing key grocery accounts, and ensuring efficient route management.
This role involves building and maintaining strong customer relationships, driving sales, optimizing routes for delivery and service efficiency, and ensuring the smooth operation of all daily tasks related to the territory's performance.We have some flexibility with location; our ideal candidate will be based in Queenstown – we are open to reviewing applications if you are based in Invercargill / Dunedin region.What you'll be responsible for:Developing strong relationships with customers and team members.Leading, developing and engaging a team of merchandisers – including H&S Compliance, recruitment, run-lists, performance management and leave.Promotional management.Analysing category, financial and sales performance.Proactively managing shelf space and merchandising resources to maximise return on investment.Effective sales and distribution of New Product Development (NPD).Identifying and executing growth opportunities within the territory.Proactively championing a strong H&S and Employee Wellbeing culture.What you'll bring to the role:Ideally, experience in account or territory management within FMCG (if you don't have this but meet the other requirements, we'd love to hear from you!
