Our team sees every aspect of the hospitality industry, whilst gaining a unique experience that develops their career and can be transferred when they are ready for the next exciting adventure.The Hermitage team is looking for a Tenancy Housekeeper to ensure staff accommodation is clean, set, and ready for our staff on arrival; as well as checked again on departure.Working across our tenancy portfolio in the stunning Aoraki/Mount Cook Alpine Village, you will work closely with the housekeeping, HR, and Maintenance teams to ensure our staff accommodation is ready for occupancy and any maintenance issues are recorded.What you will be doingPerforming all tenancy housekeeping activities in a timely manner to ensure staff rooms are serviced for occupancy.Working closely with HR to ensure accurate management of the property portfolio.Ensuring any room maintenance requirements or issues are reported to maintenance or escalated as needed.Following our company procedures and using the correct cleaning materials and equipment.Managing the order of linen for staff properties.Supporting the maintenance and housekeeping teams as required.What you will bring to the roleExperience in housekeeping operations or commercial cleaning is preferred.Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.Excellent attention to detail and ability to self-manage.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.A collaborative approach and willingness to help others.Hold a valid driving license and be able to drive a manual vehicle.The benefitsFull-time permanent position, working a minimum of 60 hours per fortnight.$27 per hour.Free access to all activities offered by the Hermitage Hotel after 8 weeks of service.Generous discounts on food and beverage, available from your first day on the job.Discounted hotel accommodation for friends and family after 8 weeks of service.Live in Aoraki/Mt Cook National Park, with stunning surroundings and views – with the shortest commute to work.Accommodation at reasonable rent including power and Wi-Fi.At the Hermitage, Aoraki/Mount Cook Alpine Village, we offer more than just a place to work – we offer a career lifestyle experience.
