Expertise in Telecom OSS/BSS Domain
End to End System Integration knowledge, Log Checking and Debugging
Strong practical experience of working in Agile mode

Interface with customers for issue resolution and review knowledge management activities with an objective to ensure effective incident resolution
Location:Auckland, New ZealandYears of EXP:Total Experience: 8 to 13 YearsExperience in Telecom OSS/BSS: 4+ YearsRoles and Responsibilities:
Tech lead to give Highlight and Lowlight to Service Owners (SO) on weekly basis and update them on daily basis in case of critical callouts
Give a summary of Daily/ weekly updates of important items to SO
Ensure that the 2nd In Charge (2IC) is aware of the all the major events happening during the day and onboard the offshore resource to work along
Ensure that sufficient information is captured as and when a new issue is encountered and resolved in the confluence
Ensure that team members have sufficient access to the applications which is required for support
Manage and participate in the on-call 24x7 rota
Ensure that required stats are sent to required stakeholders as per the agreed frequency
Ensure that minutes of meetings are tracked after daily calls and actions are followed up via the respective team members
Ensure that incident/problem/change primes are tracking their respective tracks work along with the Application Support and Maintenance (ASM) work assigned to them
Review the risks associated with the applications for which they are the leads and churn out a plan for mitigation
Tech lead to perform duties of 2IC in absence of SO
Ensure application certificate renewals are done in time
Daily interlocks with onshore and offshore team - Delegating/Tracking the tasks for the day to the team. Provide the information about the changes happening that night/week and request their support
Managing Service accounts password on an agreed frequency
Alerts Monitoring
Ops Technical assessment, Ops handover related activities/discussions for projects
Ensure support of the applications for which they are the leads supported by the team in your stack
Handle technical issues for applications for which you are the SMEs
Skill/Competency Requirements
Essential –
Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.
4-5 years of sound Knowledge of Telecom OSS/BSS Domain
Programming Languages: Shell Scripting , Python, Perl
Database Management:Oracle, MySQL
DevOps Tools: GIT, Splunk
Tools: Confluence, jira
Monitoring: Zabbix and Splunk alert administration
Maintenance of TPII Application Production Unix servers
Report Extraction using Ora MySQL scripts
Preferred –
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
Functional Knowledge about Managing Fixed line and Broadband (FAB) customer accounts.
Fixed number porting and BB provisioning issue triaging and fixing
