The Technical Writer is required to assist with the production and delivery of technical documentation and training to Honeywell staff and clients.Key Accountabilities include;Understanding the intended purpose, functionality, configuration, user interface and back-end workings of all products and systems and can translate this to a document that is sufficiently detailed to allow an interested user to gain a similar level of familiarity with the product.Working collaboratively with the Product Development Teams to keep the documentation work in line with the development effort.Seeing an application from a user’s point of view and tailoring all documentation so that it is appropriate for each user type e.g. technical details for administrators, workflow and procedures for users, FAQs for support personnel.Documentation includes, but is not limited to, Administration Manuals, User Guides, Installation Manuals, Online help, Integration Guides, Migration GuidesUsing the agreed Company application to produce documentation.Using documentation tools and features to create documents that present information clearly and logically and conform to the Company Authoring Standards for Technical Documentation.Honeywell offers an inclusive, flexible and supportive culture, with merit based pay for performance, along with ongoing training and development opportunities for those that have the desire to succeed.
