For this varied role, you'll need to be talented technically, as well as organised and enjoy the process and outcomes of science research.
Primarily you will be responsible for technical support around teaching and research for the School of Science in Tauranga with a focus on environmental chemistry.Core activities will include:Preparation and support of teaching labsPlanning and logistics for teaching and research fieldwork excursionsProvide high quality technical knowledge, training and support to both academics and studentsA current NZ full driver's license or equivalent is required.Salary will be commensurate with the level of appointment, qualifications, skills and experience.
The range for Technical Officers is $69,199 to $82,228 per year.
