Soooo... we are currently in need of a talented, ambitious, Technical Lead to help deliver quality cloud and mobile apps to several significant organisations. You’ll be working on a high paced and important innovation stream of work that links up health, cloud, and apps at true scale (so you had better be pretty chill!)Requirements
Excellent communication skills.
Happy to be in front of customers helping clarify requirements and stakeholder management.
Able to coordinate (do defer, delete & delegate) to lead a small team of between 2-4 engineers. You would also be comfortable contributing code and overseeing and participating in all rituals involved with that around quality, CI/CD, code review, documentation and process management.
6+ years experience developing with .NET and modern cloud in a commercial setting
3+ years of experience as a Technical Lead in an established commercial setting.
Demonstrable experience also managing the front-end aspects of applications: Mobile apps & Web apps. You can be more of a back-end experienced lead, but we are in need of someone who can handle end-to-end delivery.
#Backend4lyfe - Strong demonstrated skills in architecture of backend applications, ability to lead backend development from scratch enforcing best practice.
Experience with AWS primarily or equivalent experience with other cloud platforms also seen as a plus.
Demonstrable understanding of secure cloud architectures
Demonstrable and recent experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, cloud networking and serverless are also valuable.
You dig agile development and you really know - and can show your experience with - the whole software dev life-cycle. You’re a start-to-finish kinda kid.
You need a reasonable opinion around here so you can share recommendations and alternatives objectively. Plus, it helps when deciding where to go for lunch.
You’re effective by nature - you like to move fast, you like prototyping, and you love validating and being thorough in all aspects of your day-to-day job.
Documentation and communication (in-person, email, slack, carrier pigeon if need be) doesn’t scare you.
Bonus Skills
Front-end isn’t a cuss word for you: React JS.
Experience with Serverless and AWS.
Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript
Experience dealing with large scale deployments with millions of users.
