AECOM has a rare opportunity for an experienced Acoustic Director to join our Consulting and Technology practice in Auckland. This is a newly created position to support our Practice Leader with the technical delivery of acoustics projects throughout the country.
As part of a global multi-disciplinary organisation, this director level role will not only offer you the opportunity to work alongside our fantastic team of acoustic specialists, both locally and across Australia/NZ on standalone acoustics projects, but will also enable you to be a technical expert and lead a multitude of amazing projects.
The role contributes to the winning, management, strategic direction and delivery of moderate to large scale acoustic projects. It is responsible for the management of resources, budgets and timelines and enhancing client and working relationships. This role will assist with business development, leading and preparing proposals and include presentations to clients to win work.
Minimum Requirements
About You
This position will suit a Technical Director who has demonstrated experience in delivering acoustic projects and meeting delivery requirements. It is essential to have strong oral and written communication skills, report writing, and experience in the development of proposals. The ability to demonstrate commercial acumen is a must. Proven results in building client relationships and business development skills along with;
- 15+ years' experience relevant professional experience
- Tertiary Qualification (Bachelor of Engineering or Science)
- Extensive experience working within a consulting environment
- Extensive experience leading and running acoustic engineering components of major projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Post Graduate Degree or Similar
