To support the growth of AustralianSuper we are seeking a Technical Designer who will be responsible for the ongoing development and signoff of design deliverables. Reporting to Application Development Services Manager this role represents an outstanding opportunity to provide direction to our Business Units on how they should best utilise IT to reach their business goals.
In this role, you will understand the core business needs of the Digital, Technology Services and other departments, collaborating closely with the architecture function to develop and deliver on the IT strategy. You will translate high level solution architecture deliverables down into an implementable detailed design. Supporting the wider team with technical oversight and expertise throughout implementation phases of projects through to successful delivery.
Youll need
Extensive experience working in Financial Services in a Technical/Solution Design capacity. You understand a breadth of technology disciplines from API Gateway and Microservices architecture to cloud services and hosting. You will likely have a background in development across multiple languages such as .Net, Java and Python.
You will have a demonstrable record in developing detailed designs in large scale application deployments across multiple disciplines. We are seeking candidates with a strong delivery and customer focus, with the ability to communicate and collaborate across a variety of teams, vendors and business stakeholders. Exposure to Investments/Funds Management environments would be highly regarded.
