Auckland City, AucklandFull-time, PermanentOpportunity for growth and career developmentJoin an inclusive and diverse teamGlobal brand, currently ranked in the top 10 of most desirable employers in NZWe are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to come join our National Finance team in our Auckland office!What will your typical day look like?You will be an integral member of the Business Performance team in which you will be responsible for the maintenance and validity of tabular models, as well as the production, support and maintenance of Deloitte’s reporting platform, ensuring that information is delivered quickly and accurately to help inform business decisions. You will also take full ownership of dashboards and present financial information, including tracking the day-to-day of the firms’ performance as well as regularly checking data that underlies the platform, correction of errors, and additions to extend its functionality.It is not just about the data though, you will be engaging with the business so strong interpersonal skills are necessary. Clear written and spoken communication, the ability to meet deadlines and maintain performance during pressure periods, such as month end, is key.About the teamThe National Finance team is a passionate and collaborative team who are strongly committed to best practice and excellence. Split across four sub teams; Tax, Financial Accounting and Payroll, Accounts Payable and Receivable and Business Performance are responsible for the firm’s national finance function.Enough about us, let’s talk about you! You are someone with:A tertiary qualificationExperience in accounting/finance/IT backgroundA basic understanding of accounting principles (preferred)Entry level SQL and previous dash boarding experience (Power BI, Qlik, Tableau)A positive attitude, you’ll like learning and enjoy working within a team - willing to lend a hand to your team mates when required.Accuracy; you will pride yourself in your attention to detail.Ability to communicate with your colleagues across the firm in a professional manner with a proactive customer service focus.Professional approach, excellent written and spoken communication.Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite.You must be eligible to work in NZ permanently to apply for this role.Next StepsSound like the sort of role for you?
