Utilising your expertise in both business analysis and data will see you work on projects closely with household names to deliver actionable, data-driven insights for their business. In a highly competitive space, you will consult to clients adopting a customer-centric approach having a deep understanding of their business requirements and expectations, understand their pain points and solve these by developing solutions. On the day to day your work will include early stage investigation of proposed projects, challenging client approaches, developing and agreeing plans with their cross-functional teams, proactively identify challenges (and suggesting solutions), translating business requirements into technical data outcomes and driving the project direction forward. You'll work with a talented team of data analysts to carry out these projects, however having come from a data background yourself (either as an analyst or working in data focussed environments) you'll still enjoy being involved in hands on the tools analysis every now and again, utilising your technical skills.
You will consistently exceed expectations by displaying your market leading technical expertise and refined commercial skills. You'll also be afforded the opportunity to continue learning and developing your career from both a technical and professional standpoint.The fit:
4+ years prior experience in a similar technical business analyst role
Strong SQL and Excel ability a must (background in using these tools for data analysis)
Experience with SAS, R, Tableau or Power BI advantageous
An in-depth understanding of statistical/analytical techniques to solve business problems
Able to translate a business problem into a data solution and statement of work
Excellent time management skills even when under pressure and dealing with multiple deliverables
Proactive personality and adaptable to work with a range of stakeholders
Able to convincingly present insights to clients and gain buy-in
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong commercial and business acumen
