Job Responsibilities
Ensure the business EH&S goals and targets are met and contribute to the EH&S culture of the business. Ensure all work conducted on customer trials, laboratory projects, and plant is performed safety and in compliance with Company and Statutory requirements.
Develop an in-depth knowledge of industry and customer products and processes
Ensures customer volume forecast are entered into Arkieva and achieves accuracy of data.
Provide technical support on the application and handling of products
Maintain effective relationships with customers at all levels within their organisation
Educates customers in chemical use, handling, storage, disposal and safety
Provide prompt resolution of complaints and other issues
Improve the performance of existing products and recommend changes that will improve quality standards
Support on site project teams and participate in the development of projects
Identify the needs of internal and external customers and implement necessary solutions to meet the needs.
Demonstrate commitment to achieving business results
Maintain a high profile of expertise and professionalism on site
Contribute to the development of products by identifying market opportunities
Improve the performance of existing products
Ensure the integrity of finished products
Assist with audits as required
Produce regular key account plans and customer reports
Maintain clear technical records to assist the company knowledge base
Contribute to the growth of the business through proactive management of customer accounts, new product development and process improvement
Achieve MOM and sales volumes for customers and implement MOM improvement initiatives through proactively identifying and targeting such opportunities.
Provides regular reports detailing sales volumes, MOM against budget and analysis of variances as well as 3 Is (Intelligence, Initiatives and Issues)
Minimum Qualifications
A tertiary qualification in a science discipline or significant working experience within a
A thorough knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and significant experience in operations management.
Good knowledge of EHS standards.
Able to relate to and manage relationships with internal and external customers.
Detail focused and accuracy is mandatory
Proven analytical skills
Good organisational skills and an ability to work within a team is essential
Proficient with MS Office PC applications
SAP experience desirable.
