About the role
The Paediatric Cardiology team of Starship Hospital is on the lookout for a Team Support/Scheduler to join their friendly team in a permanent full-time capacity.
The Team Support / Scheduler provides scheduling, clerical and administrative support to senior clinical and management teams and provides activity co-ordination within designated services as described in the service accountabilities.

About the Team
The Paediatric Cardiology team are the sole provider of cardiology and cardiac surgical services for infants and children with congenital and acquired heart disease in New Zealand and parts of the Pacific Basin.
Starship Child Health is a dedicated paediatric healthcare service and major teaching centre, providing family centred care to neonates, children and young people throughout New Zealand and the South Pacific. Starship is a part of Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora and is the only comprehensive children's hospital in New Zealand serving a population of approximately 1 million children.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
* Three years of secondary education or relevant work experience
* Experience working in a team administration or customer service role for two plus years
* A positive attitude with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Well-developed communication and critical thinking skills and intermediate to advanced ability in Microsoft applications
* The ability to prioritise work and take proactive approach to manage their time and workload
* A strong commitment to quality healthcare
* Be capable of working independently and within a team
* Experience working in the hospital environment and be familiar with MS Office capability including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
