Are you an experienced secretary or administrator who wants to work in a mental health organisation?
Based in Tiaho Mai, our acute inpatient department at Middlemore Hospital, we are looking for an Acute Team Secretary to provide secretarial support to the Nurse Unit Manager for the inpatient Unit, The Nurse Manager for our Acute Community Services and administrative service to the medical staff in these teams.
Working in a supportive administrative environment you will be an expert multitasking who can handle the complex responsibilities of the role. You will be responsible for managing the organisation of meetings, formatting documents, supporting departmental recruitment, assisting with annual leave and payroll management, purchasing supplied, organising the orientation of new members of staff and more.
This is a varied and autonomous role which will keep you on your toes and will offer you lots of opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge. Due to the environment that you will be working in it is essential that you have a professional workplace manner and sound judgement.
