We are looking for an Animal Technology Team Manager to become part of a high performing leadership team at the Centre for Applied Science and Primary Industries, Wintec/ Te Pukenga.Based at Wintec's Rotokauri campus, you will be part of leading change improvements to modernise and improve both business processes and teaching practices.In this role, you will be responsible for leading the Animal Technology team towards high performance, managing the day-to-day academic and business activities of your teams of tutors, and ensuring resources are in place for a quality learning environment.The appointing salary for this role will be between $105,400.00- $138,400.00, dependent on skills and experience.ResponsibilitiesEffectively lead staff to ensure an engaged, high performing and flexible team.Deliver successful akonga outcomes by providing leadership and management in teaching quality, research (if appropriate) and effective programme management.Effectively manage budgets, quality and risk within areas of responsibility.Successfully build and maintain relationships with all key stakeholders.Minimum RequirementsTo be successful in this role you will have:Strong people and change leadership skills.Experience in working in a context involving animals, ideally.Management experience.The ability to solve complex issues.As an inclusive and supportive employer, we value diversity and want to encourage anyone interested to apply, regardless of whether you tick all the boxes or not.We know that people from underrepresented groups and women in particular don't apply for roles if they're not a 100% match, but we're not looking for perfection, we're looking for potential.We want to see the real you in your application, and welcome the real you on board if you come and work with us.
