Team Leader Monitoring

We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.

Ensure the delivery of a fit for purpose environmental monitoring programme across the ORC physical network including air, biodiversity, surface water and groundwater.
Provide leadership to the Monitoring team, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and building a supportive, positive and high performing team culture.
Work collaboratively across the wider organisation, providing expert technical advice and knowledge while also delivering monitoring services that meet the needs of stakeholders.
Actively participate as a member of the Environmental Monitoring leadership group.
Be a champion for safety and wellbeing, actively supporting a culture of safe and responsible behaviours and attitudes.

To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience leading and working with technical specialists across a range of disciplines. Your knowledge and understanding of environmental monitoring standards and relevant legislation will be key. As will your ability to effectively govern and manage projects and programmes ensuring the efficient allocation of resources. This position has a strong focus on leadership and liaising with stakeholders - you'll be actively involved in working across a variety of areas whilst providing support and guidance to an experienced and dedicated team. You will need to be driven, adaptable, innovative, resilient, and have a desire to think outside the box to guide your team through changes and challenges to create a truly rewarding workplace.
