The Land Development Engineering team manages all aspects of infrastructure engineering and natural hazards relating to land development across the city of Tauranga. This position has 3 different roles reporting into them and plays a significant role within the team; Managing the technical information in relation to historic land uses, contaminated sites, other project development processes and land features within Tauranga City.
To help deliver our city strategy and to manage future growth and development our Infrastructure Delivery Team are searching for an exceptional and experienced Team Leader to help contribute to and manage their very busy and diverse working portfolio.
To be successful in this role, we are looking for an outstanding person to:
Develop and facilitate the Development Engineering workflows and systems
Support, train and monitor Development Engineering staff in Resource Consent processes
Establish and monitor relevant business and financial processes, to ensure the operational efficiency and cost neutrality of the Land Development Engineering Team
Provide expert advice on Land Development Engineering processes and matters relating to the technical library and associated land features to both internal and external users
Provide leadership, support and development of your team
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have:
Diploma in Business, Legal or equivalent qualification
5 years experience in Customer Service
A thorough knowledge of debtor/creditor and electronic accounting systems
Established relationship building and confidence dealing with contentious issues and situations of conflict
Excellent computer skills, accuracy and confidence with figures
Current Full Drivers Licence
In addition, it would be advantageous if you have experience with land development and land management processes, along with local government experience.
