Team Leader - Clinical - Adult Community

Stepping Stone Trust (SST) is a faith based organisation and the largest NGO Mental Health Service in Canterbury. SST operates Residential, Respite and Community Support services for Youth through to Older Persons for 500+ tangata whaiora/consumers each week.
Are you an experienced Social Worker looking for a new challenge to extend your clinical and management experience in a vibrant NGO setting?
Do you have at least 3 years' experience in a Mental Health context - preferable in a community setting - and have led and managed staff?
We have a rare vacancy in this role which provides clinical depth to our adult community mental health support team (13 FTE) and supports the Services Manager to implement and maintain high standards of clinical practice.
You will have passion and competency to work within a community based mental health recovery service and be able to champion best practice work models while being able to contribute to the professional practice and skill of the staff team. In addition, your well-developed groupwork skills will support the delivery of psycho-educational programmes and the training of other staff in these skills.
A great team stems from sound leadership and healthy relationships and it is anticipated that you'll be well practiced in these attributes. Alongside the team demands, being well organised with administration, audit and compliance tasks is an important component of the role.
The role is full time Monday - Friday and the pay range is $70K to $78K per annum for 1.0 FTE.
