About the role:
With the support of the Manager – Event Service,you will be responsible for assisting with the efficient running of thedepartment through the supervision of staff and designated events, inaccordance with the established brand standards of Hyatt International. Youwill also be responsible for maximising guest satisfaction by providing thehighest levels of personalised customer service, helping ensure the financialsuccess of the department and fostering a positive and productive workenvironment for the Event Service team
Some of the responsibilities include:
To assist the Manager by ensuing that all policies and procedures are successfully executed.

Provides exceptional guest service at all times and handles all guest and colleague inquiries and complaints in a courteous and efficient manner.

Ensures that the food and beverage standards are implemented.

Is a hands-on Team Leader and is present at all times in the outlet, especially during busy periods.

Nurtures and develops each team member, maximising their effectiveness by developing their skills and abilities through appropriate training and coaching

Responsible for updating and maintaining daily roster records on the hotel's payroll system, Microster.

Previous work experience in a similar role and fast-paced environment

Qualification in food and beverage service training, preferably diploma or certificate in Hospitality or Tourism management

Excellent food and beverage service skills

Excellent computer skills particularly in the use of MS Office

Legal Working Rights in New-Zealand for minimum of 1 year.
