We're looking for an inspirational and motivated leader to take up the exciting opportunity as a full-time Team Coach (TC) located across two services in the wider Manukau area, Auckland.
This TC role involves supporting our well-established acute community day programme known as Te Whare Toi Aroha and our mobile Health and Wellbeing team.
As the TC, you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of our service.
Your responsibilities will include:
Oversee the care of tangata whai ora at Te Whare Toi Aroha to ensure they receive exceptional support in the community.
Support the efficient and effective use of resources for the team while fostering innovation and improvement of service.
Lead and support staff, including regular individual coaching, recruitment, professional development, and performance management.
You will support the team to exceed their personal best in everything they do.
You'll be reporting to the Service and Relationship Manager and receive the same coaching and support to achieve great mahi together.
Develop and grow our services to meet emerging community needs.
Grow strong and collaborative inter-sector networks and partnerships.
About You | Mou
We are looking for someone who is passionate about the wellbeing of tangata whai ora and whanau navigating mental health challenges.
While we prefer an Occupational Therapist, we are interested in hearing from candidates who bring the following:
HPCA regulated health practitioner, registered with a current APC (Registered Nurse, Social Worker, DAPAANZ, or other)
Relevant work experience, including at least one year's experience in mental health, and experience in leadership supporting, managing, and inspiring a team.
Ability to work well with other services such as Health New Zealand/Te Whatu Ora, PHOs, and the wider community and social sector.
Leadership experience and skills in managing others.
HPCA Clinical registration.
Role model wellbeing and leadership, supporting our kaimahi to do the same.
