Job DetailsFull-time, Fixed-term position starting on 26/05/2025 and ending on 12/12/2025 (Roll growth).Position and SubjectsPrimary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher.Subjects include: English, Health and Physical Education, Learning Languages, Mathematics and Statistics, Science, Social Sciences, Technology, Te Reo Maori, The Arts.Role DescriptionThis is a fixed-term role until the end of the 2025 school year, approximately 0.6 FTE to full-time.Qualifications and ExperienceExperienced primary-trained teacher with full registration and recent experience teaching the New Zealand curriculum.
Ability to speak Te Reo Maori and/or local iwi connections will be highly regarded.Additional InformationThis position is also advertised in the Secondary (Y7-15) section.Northern Health School is a Ministry of Education funded school providing education and transition support for Y0-14 students who are unable to attend their regular school due to health reasons.The school management and administration are primarily based in Auckland, with units across the North Island from Kaitaia to Gisborne, Taupo, and Taranaki.
