Key aspects of this role are to ensure the successful management of the finance functions and deliver efficient and effective financial and accounting support to the operations of the PKW Group, in particular managing day-to-day transactions, accounting processes and reporting to ensure timely and accurate payment/receipting and transaction management whilst delivering efficient and effective financial and accounting support to the operations of the PKW Group. Cash management including bank reconciliations and administration Accounts receivable Month-end / year-end preparation Fixed asset analysis and register maintenance Tax compliance preparation Maintenance of accounting systems and processes including internal financial controls Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders About You We invite applications from candidates with the following: Tertiary diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance and/or related discipline Chartered Accountant qualifications (desirable) or on a clear pathway to attainment  Prior experience in the preparation of financial accounts Advanced ability working in the Microsoft Suite, especially strong competency in MS Excel and other relevant software.  The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate understanding and empathy with Maori aspirations for Maori economic development and of tikanga Maori.  An excellent opening, this role presents an exciting career opportunity for those looking to contribute their expertise in a whanau-based, dynamic and future-focused organisation based in the beautiful region of Taranaki. ____________________________________ To request a copy of the position description and application form, or for any patai, please contact our Te Rau Whakapuawai Team via .
