Tax Manager

We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.

Engage with the business on tax by providing tax advice on tax matters and providing support on finance team and wider business projects
?Engage with external stakeholders, including third party service providers
Embed efficiencies and improvements into the tax team's recurring compliance processes
Manage accurate and timely tax reporting for financial reporting purposes?

At least 8 years' of relevant experience in the Tax field, either in a large corporate or Big 4 CA environment
Be either CA qualified or a law professional
Strong and proven tax compliance background, including tax accounting and return preparation
High level knowledge of New Zealand tax legislation.
Experienced people manager leading a tax team with at least two direct reports
Specialist experience with indirect taxes, transfer pricing, or overseas tax jurisdictions is an advantage but not a requirement.
