We are looking for registered nurses to work in our busy multi-specialty ward with an opportunity to care for patients from orthopaedic, and urology specialties. You'll have sound clinical nursing skills, a strong patient focus, and enthusiasm for working in a team. You'll be passionate about nursing clinical excellence, innovation and professional development.
The ward is a 36 bed, inpatient ward that provides secondary and tertiary level preoperative care for acute/ trauma cases and postoperative care for both elective and acute patients. The addition of Urology patients to the patient mix is new to most of the staff, we'll support and help you to adapt to the changing environment whilst maintaining your high nursing standards.

You will have:
Registration with NZ Nursing Council
Current Annual Practicing Certificate
Current NZ Work visa
Surgical nursing experience

Hours are rostered and rotating according to the needs of the unit. Candidates will be contacted by the CCDHB if they are successfully shortlisted. Referees will only be contacted with candidates' permission during the selection process. Unsuccessful applicants will be notified by email if they were not successful for an interview.
