An excellent opportunity for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic System Analyst to join our team and support our operational applications. In addition, you will be responsible for security and compliance, system administration, application support and project work as and when required. Involvement in the day to day support and management of our customers’ systems
Ongoing assessment and maintenance of systems, procedures and processes including identifying areas of improvement
Management and resolution of incidents within agreed SLA’s
Acting as an escalation point for system issues within the support team
Acting as an applications & ERP subject matter expert and providing your knowledge to assist in developing solutions to complex business challenges
Delivery of IT projects to our customers and for internal continuous improvement
Document, support and train our users in the use of our internal systems and the various processes used within the distinct business units
Ensure an accurate alerting and monitoring program is in place and regular checks of key application elements are undertaken
Liaise with vendors to ensure fixes are provided for problems identified
Ensure all applications are fit for purpose and is implemented in a reliable manner
Demonstrate robust change management methodology to minimise disruptions to users in any patching, upgrade, or implementation works
Implementations of the Pronto-Xi ERP system for new customers
What we’re after
Ideally, you’ll have 4+ years of technical hands on experience administrating complex systems
Qualification in an information technology field is preferred
It is desirable to have experience with ERP systems in a complex business environment
Experience with process mapping, application support, documentation/technical writing is highly desirable
Demonstrated experience in managing customer IT environments, including on-premises and cloud
Quick learner and ability to adapt to new technologies and systems
Experience in communicating technical information to end users while processing and recording information efficiently
Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Able to work effectively in independent, on-site and team settings
Customer focused attitude striving for successful business outcome
Ability to champion the development and launch of new products, services, and upgrades.
