And that's where you come in.Auckland, New Zealand (On-Site)ResponsibilitiesProviding effective, reliable, and timely administrative support for assigned Business ApplicationsProvide daily support for AIFS, business applications and resolving related technical issuesProvide daily support for AIFS related hardware and operating systems across multiple environmentsLead, as a subject matter expert to provide advice as and when required for AIFS applications and infrastructureProvide daily administration support for users of AIFS and other assigned applicationsRunning reports and publishing to a central location on regular basis or as requested by the CustomersMonitor and manage the security, capacity, load and performance of AIFS and other major Business SystemsMonitor and manage the interfaces and associated log files between AIFS, Devices and other major Business SystemsOther related duties as assignedRequirements5yrs+ demonstrated experience as a System Administrator supporting over 100 users in an enterprise environmentDemonstrable troubleshooting skills in a technically complex environmentLinux Server experience would be highly advantageousExposure to HPE Hyperconverged infrastructure technologies and VMware systemsNetworking and fault finding experienceExperienced in IT service delivery industries that focus on proactively engaging in positive customer outcomesMust undergo Police Security ClearanceMust be willing to travel to other Hitachi Rail GTS NZ sites on an infrequent basis for relief manning, support, or training coursesMust hold a current Drivers LicenceDesirableMCSE or equivalent certificationExposure to automation tools such as Puppet, and monitoring systems such as New Relic and PapertrailKnowledge of ITIL practices and processes.Experience in conducting training sessions for small groups of application usersKnowledge of SQL programming languageYou must have a valid Work Permit or Visa to be considered for the roleThank you for your interest in Hitachi Rail.
